JOB OPPORTUNITY

Urban Mobility Roads Infrastructure and Management

Basic Salary: R245 549 PER ANNUM

Requirements:

• Grade 12

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a roads and storm water

maintenance, construction environment or related field

• Computer Literacy in Microsoft Office Suite

• Must be able and willing to work outside normal working hours in all weather conditions

• A valid code B driver’s licence

Key Performance Areas:

• Carry out inspections relating to or impacting on the provision

of Roads and Storm water Infrastructure

• Engaging with external stakeholders

• Assist in coordinating roads infrastructure maintenance

activities

• Assisting in wayleave, and carriageway crossing applications

and compiling work permits

• Filing relevant documents for easy retrieval

• Maintain the standards in the technical library

• Ensure Contractors comply with legislation and policy

• Record keeping and compiling reports onsite inspection outcomes

• Compiling cost estimates

• Compile snag list of projects when they are completed (for

as built purposes)

• Providing technical and administrative support to the relevant

role players within the department
