To integrate into an existing team servicing parts Neuro / Spine customers, working closely with the Senior Salespeople in the area in developing and maintaining customer relationships, offering technical / clinical training and solutions in the OR to meet the customers' and users' needs, excellent after sales service and support.
NEURO DIVISION
Work closely with the Senior salesperson and Sales Manager to identify customer requirements, potential support, and a sales plan for the territory.
Work with the Senior Salesperson & Sales Manager to implement tactical plans to drive increased use of the company and divisions products.
- Follow up on sales leads and address customer queries.
- Work with sales colleagues to optimise growth of the company and division by sharing opportunities for growth and providing support as needed.
- Ensure that orders received are placed immediately.
- Ensure invoicing and delivery is commissioned as per company procedures.
- Develop positive relationships with end users and customers building a firm foundation for ongoing business.
- Offer professional and technical advice to solve customer technology / medical device requirements and offer solutions promoting the company's brand.
- Provide in-service training creating lasting and correct usage of the medical devices used.
- Obtain approval for access through the relevant channels within the hospital groups / clinical facility prior to engagement with customers / users / support personnel.
- At any given point in time understand the source of current business and likely support in the next 12-month period supported by market / business intelligence.
- Gather and report information regarding competitor activities in the territory.
- Acquire understanding of relevant clinical studies and theory and utilise the correct sales materials (aids) in an effective manner.
- Attend and actively participate in company meetings as required.
- Provide the necessary product support and exceed our customer's expectations during specialized operating theatre cases.
Requirements
THIS INCLUDES EXTENSIVE DRIVING AND LONG WORKING HOURS.
- Able to scrub up in theatre and be part of the surgical team (gown and glove), with particular focus on Neuro / Spine cases.
- Providing technical instruction and support on the products supplied (product training will be provided).
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Do basic administration including weekly activity reports.
- Well presented.
- Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and written.
- Follow instructions and work well in a team.
- Managing consignment stock and being accountable for variances.
- Providing feedback requested by management.
- Reporting complaints / problems encountered.
- Compliance with Quality Management Systems.
Candidates must have their own reliable vehicle, cell phone, computer, data, and fuel must be managed in a way that the successful applicant will always have the ability to perform the job function and duty.
Qualifications
- Orthopaedic Trauma cases Scrub Technician.
- Graduate (preferably in Health or Life Sciences).
- Motivated, target driven, independent worker with enthusiasm and passion for sales and the medical industry.
- Able to scrub for operating theatre cases.
- Experience in medical device industry.
- Must have own transportation and driver's license (non-negotiable).
- Must have own mobile device and computer (non-negotiable).
- Able to work early and late hours when required.
