Job summary

Bidvestfacilitiesmanagement seeks a hands-on Handyman Maintenance Technician to perform timeous and quality planned, preventive and emergency maintenance on electrical and building systems. You will follow work orders, inspect infrastructure and assist with major repairs when needed.

The role requires a Grade 12, N4 Technical, a valid SA driver’s license, and practical on-site experience. OHS Act knowledge and first aid are advantageous, with SOP/HIRA fatigue management training preferred.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Technical Matric advantageous).
• N4 Technical (Electrical/Mechanical).
• Valid SA Drivers Licence.
• Practical exposure in basic tasks of electricity building infrastructure, including carpentry, plumbing, painting.
• Minimum 2 yrs relevant experience in Handyman maintenance tasks.
• Basic training on hand tools, electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of OHS Act & ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• First Aid.
• On-site training (SOP training, HIRA, Fatigue management).

Responsibilities
