Qualifications and Experience
- National Diploma in Dry Processing of Textile Technology; B.Tech preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in technology or manufacturing processes within the textile industry.
- Experience in textile technology-related teaching or training in higher education, industry, or training institutions.
- Strong knowledge of yarn and fabric manufacturing, product engineering, fabric construction, quality, and raw materials.
- Understanding of laboratory equipment and systems related to textiles.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Summary of Duties
- Assist the Head of Department or assigned academic staff with tasks.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment.
- Support practical sessions, assess student work, and train students in equipment use.
- Manage laboratory opening/closing and access periods.
- Oversee inventory and equipment management.
- Assist in budget planning for consumables and equipment.
- Perform administrative duties, engage in community initiatives, and support income-generating activities.
- Engage in personal professional development.
- Participate in departmental activities, including research and community engagement.
