Job description

The main purpose of this role is to drive the Modernisation Technical Analysis activities between BSA, Industry Participants and Offshore delivery teams and ensure technical requirements and build specifications align to business requirements. Provide consultation on design, development and maintenance of system using appropriate domestic or international message standards and understand payment delivery and processing.

You will engage with the following stakeholders :

  • Internal and External
  • Internal and External Stakeholders
  • Regulatory Bodies
  • Offshore Delivery Teams

Your key responsibilities include : Product Development

  • Analyse Bank systems and plan and implement payment message formats to align with global best practice
  • Manage regular review and release of message standards developed by the Bank
  • Support change of processing payments in the Bank systems to align with international standards

Business Improvement

  • Drive the adoption of appropriate new tools for managing payment messages and standards.
  • Support the enablement of the Bank’s future Interbank Product architecture regarding Message Standards

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Payment Systems
  • Knowledge on full SDLC, Business Analysis and Technical Analysis
  • Technical Tools and Development Exposure is an advantage
  • Database design knowledge is an advantage
  • Knowledge of ISO 20022 Payments standards is an advantage
  • Knowledge of the PayShap Industry programme is an advantage
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in Financial Services Information Technology related Projects
  • Minimum of 4 years in a professional analyst role
