R 540,000 - R 720,000 Annually Basic Salary (Market related, Negotiable)

Our client based in Germiston is seeking a UTT Sales Representative to join their team. The UTT Sales role aims to develop, grow, and maximize product offering, system performance, sales targets, and profitability in line with company objectives and strategies.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Deliver sales revenue based on regional and personal sales targets.
  2. Own, create, and maintain relationships with customers in the assigned area.
  3. Maximize market advantage by focusing on the contractor market sector, aligning with end-user and specifier requirements, and managing customer relationships.
  4. Maintain personal trade spend within the assigned sales region.
  5. Engage with customers across supply chains to promote and demonstrate system functionality and value.
  6. Provide technical expertise and advice on the company's product range.
  7. Communicate value propositions effectively both internally and externally.
  8. Train customers on existing and new products, including on-site demonstrations and hands-on training.
  9. Focus on project management to ensure project success.
  10. Build sustainable relationships to meet KPI regarding specifications vs projects.
  11. Maintain the target closure rate as set by management.
  12. Provide monthly forecasts on tracked projects.
  13. Achieve forecast accuracy targets set by management.
  14. Follow through from specification to order.
  15. Manage debt within the area of responsibility.
  16. Articulate the company's offer and highlight product advantages over competitors.
  17. Identify new opportunities for product enhancement through market and customer understanding.
  18. Analyze customer product mix to add value and align with company strategy.
  19. Adhere to reporting procedures and offer feedback when required.
  20. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
  21. Manage product performance issues per company guidelines.
  22. Update CRM with visit reports, customer info, and market intelligence.
  23. Meet sales targets and training goals as per plan.
  24. Participate in meetings as required.
