Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a hands-on technical leader and senior full-stack engineer in Johannesburg to drive architecture, engineering standards and technical direction.

You will work across Angular and Java, cloud-native technologies, APIs and microservices, contributing to architecture, standards and roadmaps in a regulated enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience delivering enterprise-grade applications across front-end and back-end environments.
• Proven experience with Angular and Java/Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices, APIs and modern integration architectures.
• Strong exposure to AWS and cloud-native development.
• Experience within financial services, investment platforms or another regulated enterprise environment is highly advantageous.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role for an experienced full-stack engineer who can work confidently across Angular, Java, cloud-native technologies, APIs and microservices , while contributing to architecture, engineering standards and technical direction.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of professional development experience , preferably within financial services, investment platforms or another regulated enterprise environment .

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Full-Stack Software Development

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality Java and Angular applications across front-end and back-end layers.
