We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Team Lead with a strong background in Apigee to join our dynamic team at Vodacom in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading technical teams, driving project success, and delivering high-quality solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of API management and a passion for technological innovation.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers in designing, developing, and implementing API solutions using Apigee.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
3. Oversee technical aspects of projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
4. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
5. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
6. Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in API management and related technologies.
8. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong expertise in Apigee, including API design, development, and management.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.
