Team Manager / Senior Consultant
At VSC Solutions, we are revolutionizing the logistics industry with innovative SaaS solutions. We seek an experienced Team Manager to lead our team and ensure continued growth, focusing on new customer implementations and customer retention through personalized management and optimal use of our technology.
The role involves managing projects, resources, and software implementations for both new and existing clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing Consultants, Distribution Planners, and Expeditors, including their activities and administration.
- Delivering strategic exercises such as fleet mix, service day assignment, and customer to DC allocation, and reporting outcomes to the General Manager and clients.
- Ensuring the generation and implementation of new ideas within existing customer accounts.
- Overseeing project management, software implementation, and service delivery, ensuring value realization post-implementation.
- Handling administrative duties, including expense claims, billable hours, leave approvals, and timely monthly billing.
- Driving progress meetings and resolving escalated issues with clients and team members.
Required competencies include account management, communication, time management, problem-solving, resilience, project management, motivation, and organizational skills. The candidate should be able to work under pressure, possess strong product knowledge, take ownership of their work, and demonstrate attention to detail, especially in data analysis. People management, conflict resolution, presentation skills, and intermediate to advanced Excel skills are essential.
Qualifications and experience needed:
- 2-3 years in distribution/logistics and implementing route planning, execution management, and mobile workflow software.
- 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Experience in strategic optimization exercises.
- Qualification in Logistics, Transport, or Industrial Engineering.
