Team Leader : Warehouse (Binning)

Parts Incorporated Africa is searching for an enthusiastic and motivated Binning Team Leader to join the team in Durban.

Position Purpose

The purpose of this position is to supervise the binning and inventory team, among others.

Responsibilities

1. Capture all binning documentation on ELCB.
2. Oversee binning of stock into correct bins.
3. Maintain binning within the KPI of 2 days outstanding.
4. Ensure correct stock levels in bins.
5. Verify accuracy of physical stock against system stock.
6. Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the DC.
7. Refill bins from bulk stock to pick-faces.
8. Control stock counting processes.
9. Investigate stock shortages.
10. Capture stock level adjustments.
11. Monitor KPIs for binning and inventory counts.
12. Manage the binning and inventory teams.
13. Update the Gemba board daily to maintain discipline.

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate is essential.
• 3-5 years' experience in a similar environment/role.
• Computer literate.
• Experience in WMS.
• Good understanding of Health and Safety systems, and 5S housekeeping.
