Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee and ensure the production schedule is followed efficiently by monitoring the production steps timely and adherence to the company’s HSE standards, quality systems, processes, and procedures.
  2. Proactively support your team through production including changeovers, shift handover, accurate documentation, and other technical tasks to ensure a smooth production process.
  3. Conduct coaching and briefing sessions to promote Lean Manufacturing Principles to ensure adequate skill sets are maintained (e.g., 5S, Continuous Improvement, Root Cause Analysis).
  4. Drive Operational Excellence with initiatives such as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean Performance Management Systems (LPMS), Standard Work, and Single Minute Exchange Dies (SMED) in collaboration with Production, Quality, and Technical Teams for process improvements to ensure efficient operations.
  5. Responsible for shift efficiency, which includes but is not limited to HSE, quality issues, resource management, and downtime.
Qualifications:
  1. Matric or equivalent work experience.
  2. Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with at least 4 years.
  3. Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and lead your team through challenging situations.
  4. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality systems.
  5. Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
