Job Purpose
To effectively manage, monitor, supervise and motivate a team of Personal Risk Advisors, in an outbound Call Centre, towards achievement of department strategies and goals.
Job Outputs
- Achieve sales budget in terms of units and premium
- Timeous recruitment of advisors
- Ensuring a full complement of Advisors in order to reach business objectives
- Retention of key employees
- Manage disciplinary processes in terms of conduct and performance, as per SOP
- Maintain employee supervision files
- Ensure all amendments on the FSCA register are actioned timeously
- Ensure all consultants comply with legislative requirements
- Ensure sufficient coaching and training sessions are conducted
- Ensure CPD, COB as well as any other mandatory training is conducted
- Ensure all training records are completed and filed
- Submission of daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Monitor systems to operational effectiveness and advise applicable role players if any intervention is required
- Identify, document and submit potential compliance vulnerability and risk areas
- Implement corrective action plans for compliance risk areas
- Ensuring schedule adherence by managing leave and working times
- Ensure corrective actions based on internal and external audit findings are implemented
- Manage insurer referrals and out of mandate actions
- Team motivation and meetings, including one-on-one, performance and probationary discussions
- Performance improvement by means of Coaching and Training Interventions for under-performers
- Compiling of commission sheets for the team
- Leads management and reporting
- Management of all daily sales activities
Qualifications
- Matric/Grade 12
- RE 5 certificate (essential)
- RE 1 (advantageous)
- FSCA recognized qualification - NQF level 4 (essential)
Experience
- Minimum 2 years supervisory outbound Contact Centre Telesales experience
- Minimum 3-4 years Short-term insurance operational experience
