Team Leader - National Contact Centre Cape Town Fixed Term

FIXED TERM CONTRACT ENDING ONE DAY AFTER THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS IN 2026

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Effectively managing the performance of the team of callers / capturers / tracers / auditing agents.
• Taking responsibility for ensuring that the team conducts as many high quality interviews / canvasses / audits and interactions as possible, captures data effectively, and traces voters efficiently.
• Leading the team of callers / capturers / tracers / auditing agents to gather the highest quality data possible.
• Meeting all required targets to achieve campaign 2026 LGE objectives.
• Assisting with calling, data capturing, auditing, and tracing when necessary.

Minimum requirements:

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English and at least one other national language.
• 1 year team management / leadership experience.
• Relevant call centre or data capturing experience.
• Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite.

• Time management and organisation.
• Administration and attention to detail.

Abilities:

• Use initiative and work well in high-pressure situations.
• Be outcomes-oriented, not simply task-oriented.
• Work independently.
• Apply sound judgement.

Knowledge and Commitment:

• Knowledge of Party Systems advantageous.
• Commitment to the principles, policies, and programme of action of the Democratic Alliance.
• Willingness to go the extra mile, which may include working long and irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays where necessary.
