Job description

The External Fibre Sales Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of sales representatives who engage directly with customers at their homes. As a Team Leader, you are tasked with ensuring that the team meets sales goals/targets and maintaining high levels of motivation and performance within the group.

This role involves direct interaction with residents through door-to-door sales efforts requiring effective communication and a customer-focused approach. Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to inspire and lead a team are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Door-to-Door Sales: Engage with residents in assigned communities to promote and sell fibre internet services, effectively communicating the benefits and features of our offerings.
  2. Team Management: Ensure the team meets sales goals/targets and maintain high levels of motivation and performance within the group.
  3. Walking Routes: Follow designated walking routes to maximize coverage and reach potential customers within the community.
  4. Educational Outreach: Educate potential customers about the advantages of our fibre internet services and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  5. Feedback Reporting: Provide detailed feedback and insights after each shift, including customer interactions, concerns, and market trends.
  6. Working Hours: Work between 15:00 and 19:00 from Monday to Friday and between 08:00 and 12:00 on Saturdays.
  7. Sales Reporting: Accurately record and upload sales data into both client systems and our internal systems for tracking and reporting purposes.
  8. Customer Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with potential customers and leave a favorable impression of the company.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  2. Self-motivated and able to work independently
  3. Ability to walk for extended periods and follow designated routes
  4. Sales or customer service experience is a plus
  5. Reliable and punctual
  6. Strong leadership skills

Reporting Structure:

The External Fibre Sales Team Leader will report directly to our Sales Operations Team to provide feedback on the team's performance.

Compensation:

  1. Monthly Fuel Allowance: We offer a capped fuel allowance to cover the team's monthly travel.
  2. Monthly Data Allowance: We offer a capped data allowance to cover the team's shared monthly data needs.
  3. Competitive Earnings: Earn up to 10k a month on a part-time basis.
  4. Part-Time Work: Work for no more than 3/4 hours a day (Monday-Saturday).
