Job Purpose

Management and minimise risk to Nedbank using pre-defined systems, processes and procedures.

Job Responsibilities
  • Monitor a cost-effective debtor management strategy by adhering to the Business Unit cost structure.
  • Rehabilitate long outstanding accounts by concluding relevant arrangements business.
  • Drive efficiency of team delivery by reviewing daily reports and planning team's strategies.
  • Meet monthly individual and overall team financial KPI’s .
  • Manage stakeholder expectations by operating within the specified parameters and Service Level Agreements(SLA).
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships by attending regular staff meeting and team building sessions.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders by providing support and continuous engagement.
  • Meet stakeholder expectations by resolving queries within turnaround times.
  • Support decision making by gathering and analysing various forms and levels of information.
  • Manage staff performance by monitoring and reviewing daily activities of direct reports and take corrective action.
  • Drive the creation of business values by aligning products to business requirements.
  • Maintain and improve professional and ethical reputation by enforcing compliance with legal and risk controls and requirements.
  • Ensure efficient development and management of resources by monitoring team operational efficiencies.
  • Adapt to changes in Legislation by educating staff and conducting compliance assessments.
  • Identify team performance gaps by conducting performance evaluations and analysing performance data through reporting and key KPI deliverables.
  • Mitigate risk by adhering to Reputation Risk standards (mandate, workflows and procedures).
  • Build the intellectual capital of the team by conducting on the job training, coaching and mentoring.
