Job description

Job Purpose

Coordinate activities of the Internal logistics team to ensure safe and efficient execution of the daily logistics working plan.

Guarantee that internal logistics remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows.

Optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing costs.

Ensure that internal logistics processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice transport & logistics vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to improve operational performance.

Drive changes to align team behavior with customer needs.

Implement a performance-driven culture through Continuous Improvement, Lean, and Kaizen principles.

Provide overall direction to the Internal Logistics teams including Goods Inbound, Goods Outbound / Deliveries.

Collaborate with the External Logistics team to ensure smooth T&D operations.

Lead personnel with accountability for results through empowerment and operational metrics.

Ensure accurate and prompt SAP data entry, maintenance of spreadsheets, etc.

Coordinate coverage issues and overtime when necessary.

Promote safety, quality awareness, and customer orientation through leadership.

Assist and train team members; coordinate cross-training activities.

Coordinate with Maintenance for repairs, work orders, and equipment releases.

Troubleshoot operational problems.

Aim to improve stock accuracy to 98% and analyze discrepancies for corrective actions.

Support Project Engineers with tasks related to new projects.

Make operational decisions as needed.

Record deviations and operational issues.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent.

5+ years of Warehouse / Operations experience.

Leadership experience in Warehousing, Transport, & Distribution.

Knowledge of SAP.

Experience with external warehouse management.

Knowledge of food safety standards : GMP, FSSC , Food Defense, Food Safety.

Knowledge of International Standards : ISO , OHSAS , ISO .

Relevant experience can substitute for formal qualifications.

Well-organized and able to work under pressure.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
