Introduction

Tracker is seeking an individual to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a secure, scalable, and high-performing network infrastructure that supports the organization's current and future business objectives.

This includes providing technical leadership, fostering operational excellence, aligning network strategy with business goals, and ensuring team development, system reliability, and compliance with security and governance standards.

Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Design, implement, and maintain secure and resilient network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi).
  2. Ensure high availability and performance of all critical network services.
  3. Provide day-to-day leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to network engineers.
  4. Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
  5. Plan and allocate tasks effectively to meet project and operational objectives.
  6. Oversee resolution of network incidents, outages, and performance issues.
  7. Ensure adherence to SLAs and effective communication during incidents.
  8. Implement and maintain network security controls, including firewall rules, segmentation, and access control.
  9. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address vulnerabilities, ensure patching, and support audits.
  10. Monitor the security of the organization's network from threats originating from inside and outside the organization.
  11. Track and report on network performance metrics, uptime, and incident trends.
  12. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost optimization.
  13. Provide regular updates to IT leadership on network health, risks, and project progress.
  14. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  15. Maintain accurate documentation of network topology, configuration, and assets.
  16. Evaluate and approve network design changes and upgrades.
  17. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., ISO, GDPR, PCI-DSS).
Education

Relevant IT Networking and Security Certifications, plus appropriate Diploma.

Training

Strong knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar enterprise networking platforms.

Experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching, VLANs, and QoS.

Proficiency in firewall configuration and network security best practices.

Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Understanding of SD-WAN, VPN technologies, and wireless networks.

5–8 years of hands-on networking experience, including 1–2 years in a team lead or senior role.

Requirements

CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent.

Willing to work extended hours and travel.
