An exciting opportunity has become available for a dynamic and experienced Team Lead within the Revenue Assurance Billing Centre of Excellence This strategic role is responsible for overseeing the FTTH Assurance, Fixed Billing, and Billing CoE functions, with a focus on ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of revenue-related processes across key operational areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day operations of revenue assurance activities, with a strong focus on identifying, analyzing, and mitigating revenue leakage risks.
- Design, implement, and manage revenue control frameworks, while ensuring robust BAU (business-as-usual) oversight of existing controls.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis and reporting using advanced SQL and certified coding skills to develop automated solutions and actionable business insights.
- Drive operational improvements and support strategic decision-making through data-driven recommendations.
- Provide leadership to a team of specialists, overseeing work allocation, performance management, leave planning, and skills development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Engage with key stakeholders and deliver reporting at both Client and Nexio Senior Management levels to ensure alignment with business objectives and service expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric certificate.
- Postgraduate qualification in Management or an IT-related field (Essential).
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proven understanding of telecommunications business operations, with strong technical knowledge of network and systems infrastructure.
- Advanced SQL certification and hands-on experience (Oracle PL/SQL, T-SQL, Informix – Essential).
- Knowledge and experience in Revenue Assurance (RA) / Business Assurance (BA) operations within a telecoms environment.
- Background in financial and/or operational auditing and investigation methodologies.
- Experience in business process analysis, modelling, and re-engineering.
- Understanding of IT or systems auditing with a focus on data analysis.
- Experience with Siebel and other Service Relationship Management (SRM) systems.
