Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced teacher to join our team as aSocial Sciences (Gr 8 and 9) and History (FET) Teacher.

• 3–6 years of teaching experience in the FET Phase
• 3–6 years of specialist subject experience in History
• Competency in digital tools and computer literacy
• A lifelong learner who reflects on and improves their teaching practice, staying informed on global educational trends
• Strong planning and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a professional presentation
• High emotional intelligence and a proven ability to manage professional relationships with maturity
• Strong time management and reliability
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
