Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced teacher to join our team as aNatural Sciences (Gr 8 and 9) and Physical Sciences Teacher (Gr 10 – 12).

Key Responsibilities

Educators in the FET Phase are expected to plan, organise, and implement effective instructional programs that inspire and support students in reaching their academic potential while preparing them for life beyond school.

Qualifications & Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) and a PGCE or B.Ed. (FET) with specialisation in Natural Sciences and Physical Sciences.
• Valid SACE registration and a current police clearance
• 3–6 years of teaching experience in the FET Phase in Physical Sciences.
• 3–6 years of specialist subject experience in Physical Sciences
• Competency in digital tools and computer literacy
• A lifelong learner who reflects on and improves their teaching practice, staying informed on global educational trends
• Strong planning and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a professional presentation
• High emotional intelligence and a proven ability to manage professional relationships with maturity
• Strong time management and reliability
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
