ADvTECH is seeking an Intersen phase Educator in Gauteng to establish and extend foundational education, guiding students toward abstract thought and independent work across curricula. You will be accountable for academic delivery, assessment, reporting, and behaviour management within a supportive learning community.

Ideal candidates hold an undergraduate degree with PGCE or B.Ed, SACE certification, and police clearance, plus 2–5 years of teaching experience and strong digital literacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher with PGCE/B.Ed; SACE qualification and police clearance required.
• 2–5 years teaching experience.
• Computer and digital literacy essential.

Duties

Intersen phase Educators will be expected to establish and further extend students basic education foundations and to guide them toward developing abstract thought and successfully completing independent work across all the areas of their various curricula. They will need :-

• to deliver future focused education in which students are motivated, inspired and challenged;
• to demonstrate strength of character, integrity and professionalism, at all times
• to develop and maintain constructive and ongoing partnerships with colleagues, parents, guardians and members of the community

Qualifications & Experience

• an undergraduate degree (NQF level 6) and PGCE or B. Education (Intermediate, Intersen or Senior Phase)
• SACE certification and a police clearance are requirements
• 2-5 years Teaching Experience
• Computer and digital literacy
• First Aid
