ADvTECH's Schools Division in Pretoria seeks an Intersen phase Educator to establish and extend students' basic education foundations, guiding independent work across the Intersen curriculum. Your role includes building partnerships with colleagues, parents and the community, communicating respectfully, and maintaining professional standards while promoting a future-focused, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications include an undergraduate degree (NQF 6) with PGCE or B.Ed, SACE

• An undergraduate degree (NQF level 6) and PGCE or B. Education (Intermediate, Intersen or Senior Phase).
• SACE certification and a police clearance are requirements.
• 2-5 years Teaching Experience.
• Computer and digital literacy.
• First Aid.

• Deliver instruction across Intersen phase curricula.
• Conduct academic assessment & reporting.
• Manage student behaviour and discipline in the classroom.
• Promote the school brand and community engagement.
• Handle administrative tasks and health & safety compliance.
• Maintain professional relationships with colleagues, parents and community.

Duties

Intersen phase Educators will be expected to establish and further extend students basic education foundations and to guide them toward developing abstract thought and successfully completing independent work across all the areas of their various curricula. They will need :-

• to deliver future focused education in which students are motivated, inspired and challenged;
• to demonstrate strength of character, integrity and professionalism, at all times
• to develop and maintain constructive and ongoing partnerships with colleagues, parents, guardians and members of the community
• to communicate and collaborate with all members of the learning community in a positive, respectful and open-minded way
