Duties

1. Plan, deliver, and assess a rigorous and relevant academic program to maximize students' emotional, social, and intellectual wellbeing.
2. Guide students in important decisions on subject choices and create an encouraging, inspiring learning environment.
3. Deliver future-focused education that motivates, inspires, and challenges students.
4. Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and strength of character.
5. Develop and maintain partnerships with colleagues, parents, guardians, and the community.
6. Communicate and collaborate positively and respectfully within the learning community.
7. Be accountable for academic delivery, assessment & reporting, student behavior management, school brand ambassadorship, administration, and health & safety.

Qualifications & Experience

1. A Degree (NQF level 7) and PGCE or B. Education (Senior Phase or FET), possibly with a specialized degree for specific subjects.
2. SACE certification and police clearance are required.
3. 2-5 years of teaching experience.
4. 2-5 years of experience in the specialist subject, if applicable.
5. Computer and digital literacy.
6. First Aid certification.
