Isisekelo Recruitment is assisting a Sandton-based accounting, auditing and tax consulting firm to fill a Tax Specialist role in a hybrid work setup. The successful candidate will handle tax registrations, SARS submissions, e-filing and tax strategy advisory for Companies, Trusts and Individuals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in an auditors/accounting firm, with SAIT/SAIPA/SAICA articles or a tax qualification, and proficiency in Xero, Sage and Caseware.

Qualifikationen

• - B.Com Accounting is required.
• - SAIT/SAIPA/SAICA articles or a tax qualification preferred.
• - 5+ years in an auditors/accounting firm.
• - Experience with Xero, Sage and Caseware is advantageous.

Tax Specialist - Hybrid Position

Our Client based in Sandton, an Accounting, Auditing & Tax Consulting firm, is currently looking for a Tax Specialist. This is a hybrid position.

Key duties would include but are not limited to:

• Registering all tax types
• SARS payment arrangements
• Submission of objections and appeals with SARS
• Manage and submit SARS audits and reviews
• Prepare tax payments
• Submit and track tax returns (Companies, Trusts, and Individuals)
• Provisional tax management and submission
• Organize and update companies tax database
• Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals
• SARS e-filing equipped
• Review and Compilation engagements

Experience/Education:

• Qualifications: B.Com Accounting
• Accountant office background and environment would be preferred.
• Articles: SAIPA/SAICA articles completed or a Tax qualification such as SAIT
• Experience: 5+ years in an auditors/accounting firm
• Programs: Xero, Sage, and Caseware. Additional programs will be of advantage.

Successful candidate must be:

• Equipped and have strong working knowledge of tax compliance matters
• Well equipped in tax admin matters on e-filing
• A good communicator (written and verbal skills)
• Dynamic and motivated
• Able to work on their own and/or in a team
• Fast learner

Package & Remuneration

R40,000.00 to R45,000.00 per month
