This role focuses on guiding a team of tax professionals, managing client portfolios, and ensuring compliance across all tax types, while delivering expert guidance to clients and colleagues. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and leadership experience within an accounting or audit practice environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Finance/Accounting/Taxation with relevant tertiary degree.
• Registered Tax Practitioner or equivalent credential.
• Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience.
• At least 5 years in a management or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Tax Department with strategic direction and performance oversight.
• Mentor and develop the tax team to ensure high-quality service.
• Manage workflow, deadlines and client deliverables for compliance.
• Oversee day-to-day tax compliance, including preparation and submission of returns across all tax types.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain professional standards.
