Tax Compliance Officer Hybrid

Location : Century City, Cape Town

Position : Hybrid (2 days at home, 3 days in the office)

Salary : R23 to R28

Start Date : 1 May / 1 June

Our client in Century City, Cape Town, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Compliance Officer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Tax Compliance & Submissions : Prepare and submit individual tax calculations and returns.
2. Manage and submit provisional tax calculations.
3. Ensure clients comply with all SARS tax regulations.
4. Handle SARS disputes, audits, and complaints.
5. Attend SARS appointments on behalf of clients.
6. Provide other related tax services as needed.

1. Client Management & Liaison : Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding tax matters.
2. Maintain and manage the client database.
3. Handle daily email correspondence with clients.

1. Administrative Duties : Ensure a 24-hour turnaround time on email responses.
2. Regularly update the task management system to track and discuss client matters.
3. Organize and clean up notifications and inbox daily.

Qualifications & Experience :

1. Education : Bcom Degree in Tax or related field.
2. Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and SARS processes.
