Job Purpose

To provide financial expertise and wealth creation advice to Nedbank clients in order to make Nedbank the great place to bank.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Analyse clients' financial statuses to determine their expenses, income, insurance coverage, financial objectives, tax status, risk tolerance, or other information needed to develop a bespoke financial plan.
  2. Examine and suggest financial solutions and strategies for the financial plan (plan for life).
  3. Assist clients in implementing their plans and carry out financial transactions.
  4. Review clients' portfolios and plans on a regular basis to customize the financial plans according to clients' changing life or economic circumstances, needs and requirements.
  5. Maintain updated knowledge of regulations, practices and financial products in order to maintain fit and proper status.
  6. Demonstrate an understanding of structuring, presenting and reviewing financial plans to individuals and legal entities.
  7. Display knowledge of approved products and services and continuously up-skill oneself on product and industry development.
  8. Understand the appropriate rules and regulations of the industry and the bank and apply them, maintaining full compliance.
  9. Build a sustainable and profitable practice.
  10. Participate and attend all business engagements to build and strengthen relationships.
Essential Qualifications

NQF Level: Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate Diploma

Essential Qualification: FSCA Qualification is essential

Preferred Qualification: Certificate: Financial Planning
