Corporate Placements is assisting a client in the retail sector to recruit a Group Tax Accountant in Cape Town. The role centers on managing Corporation tax matters, mainly for the UK, Germany, and Ireland, with responsibilities for month-end and year-end tax accounting including deferred tax.

Key requirements include ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CTA or equivalent, strong numeric and communication skills, and experience with Oracle Financials is preferred. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted.

Group Tax Accountant

Our client in the retail industry is seeking a Group Tax Accountant to join their team.

The main duties of this role include overall responsibility for Corporation tax matters, particularly for the UK, Germany, and Ireland. Responsibilities also include tax accounting (month-end and year-end, including deferred tax) and general assistance in maintaining Transfer Pricing documentation.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA or equivalent) with sound technical knowledge of tax and accounting.

Experience in corporate tax matters for the UK, Germany, and Ireland.

Strong organization, numeric, and communication skills.

Experience in Oracle Financials is preferable.
