Tax Accountant (Financial Services)

This role requires own vehicle/valid driver’s licence as the position includes extensive travelling.

Location: Kimberley, Northern Cape

Position Overview:

A well-established professional consulting audit and VAT firm requires the services of an experienced Tax Accountant.

One will be responsible for conducting a full VAT audit of the client to identify any VAT that is claimable that the client did not claim during the financial period, including the submission of monthly VAT201, VAT201 Reviews, and liaising with SARS on any assessments and or objections for the period.

Key Requirements:

1. Sound understanding and experience in VAT
2. Understanding apportionment ratios and the application thereof
3. Conducting VAT Audits
4. Submission of VAT 201 and VAT Reviews
5. Experience with SARS Assessments
6. Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence a must as this job includes travelling
7. Microsoft Excel
