Job summary

Lactalis South Africa in the Eastern Cape is seeking a Diver Code 14 tanker driver to join our site and support milk transport operations. You will perform pre/post trip checks, load milk at farms/plants, and ensure accurate documentation of samples and loads.

Required are Grade 12, valid PrDP and Code 14 license, and at least 2 years of tanker driving experience. The role involves long routes, extended hours, and weekend/public holiday work as needed.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Valid PrDP and Code 14 driver's license.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a Tanker Driver.
• Willingness to work long hours, weekends and public holidays.
• Good analytical skills and numeric intelligence.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Measuring and evaluation of milk post and pre trip inspection of vehicles.
• Loading of milk at farms and plants, collection of samples and equipment.
• Diligently taking samples and recording correct information on farm receipts and load sheets.
• Capture all information via driver working tool for relevant documentation.
• Management and housekeeping of vehicle and equipment.
• Hooking & off hooking of trailers.
