Job description

The Talent Specialist role ensures that our talent acquisition processes are effectively managed to ensure that LabourNet's recruitment processes are followed, attracting and hiring the right talent at the right time. It engages with various managers to understand business needs, develops documents, improves processes, and facilitates end-to-end recruitment.

You are responsible for:

Inclusive of but not limited to:

Recruitment Process:

  • Full 360 recruitment encompasses the end-to-end hiring process, including workforce planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, onboarding, and post-placement follow-up to ensure successful integration and retention.
  • Plan and implement the company talent acquisition strategy for the LabourNet Group.
  • Execute the company's policy for talent benchmarking, talent assessment, and interviewing within the LabourNet Group.
  • Document and update processes to ensure that the recruitment department operates in a scalable manner.

Attraction:

  • Ensure proactive meetings with managers to understand talent pipelining needs across business units.
  • Create and implement an effective attraction framework per product stream/department to build an active pipeline aiming to fill all vacancies within 21 working days.

Reporting:

  • Update relevant statistical data weekly to monitor the effectiveness of each recruitment step.
  • Highlight and address any unmet deadlines with relevant parties weekly.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of the recruitment process to refine and measure effectiveness.

Advertisements:

  • Create a library of advertisements for all positions on software portals.
  • Place adverts on the same day as receiving the approved requisition.
  • Advertise on all suitable platforms, including Pnet, LinkedIn, and Smartrecruiters.
  • Post vacancies internally on the intranet.
  • Remove adverts once roles are filled.

Ad Hoc Projects:

  • Participate in projects aimed at improving Talent Acquisition strategies and frameworks.

Package & Remuneration:

Salary: R20,400 CTC per month

Qualifications:

You'll need a customer-first mindset and the following skills to succeed:

  • Grade 12
  • National Diploma/Degree or equivalent in Human Resource Management
  • At least 3 years of end-to-end recruitment experience, preferably within a recruitment agency or internally
  • Experience in social media recruitment
  • Experience partnering with managers, interviewers, and team members throughout the recruitment process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to function effectively in a pressurized and fast-paced environment
