Role Purpose

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3-year BCom degree in Financial Planning, Investment, Business Management, Marketing, Finance, Education, or Legal.
  • Willingness to study towards the degree; recognition of prior learning if you have 3+ years of experience in the IFA industry.
  • CFA and/or CFP is an advantage.

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years in the financial services industry.
  • 1 to 3 years relevant sales experience.
  • Experience with Momentum Myriad and Investo products is advantageous.

Knowledge:

  • Strong business acumen; knowledge of risk assessments, claims, underwriting, tax, and business assurance.
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry, insurance products, and legislation is advantageous.

  • Develop relationships through regular visits and support.
  • Understand IFA needs and match value propositions.
  • Deliver messages effectively during visits.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets with a minimum of 16 face-to-face visits weekly.

  • Build deep, meaningful relationships with IFAs.
  • Encourage IFAs to become active supporters and ambassadors.

Educate:

  • Position Momentum as the partner of choice for advice-led solutions.
  • Meet or exceed production and productivity targets.

Enable:

  • Support IFAs in achieving their goals and targets.
