Role Purpose

The Retail Regional General Manager will acquire new IFAs for Momentum, responsible for the effective placement of IFAs in the best panel with the best BC.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring a high-performance culture is set and maintained.
  • Driving profitable growth through planning, execution, and management of a team of BCs to build IFA connections.
Requirements
Qualifications:
  • BCom degree in Business Management, Investments, or related fields.
  • Honours degree is an advantage.
  • CFP designation is an advantage.
Experience:
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in the financial services industry, mainly in risk and savings.
  • 3 to 8 years of relevant management experience.
  • Experience with Momentum Myriad and Investo is an advantage.
Knowledge:
  • Financial planning and advice process, including tax, structuring, and estate planning.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and Momentum products.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate the team, including active recruitment and coaching.
  • Develop and execute business plans, set sales goals, and drive sales growth.
  • Create a positive team environment with active competition and recognition.
  • Support continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Acquire and build meaningful relationships with IFAs, ensuring regular engagement and marketing activities.
  • Maintain effective communication and drive an advice-led, compliant environment.
