The role:
- Lovisa operates over 100 stores in Southern Africa and has a Global Support Centre.
- This position is part of the EMEA Talent Acquisition team.
- Conduct full-cycle recruitment for our Africa HQ in Johannesburg, averaging two hires per month.
- Manage the recruitment process for Southern Africa and Europe retail stores, averaging 250 hires per month.
- The role reports to the Head of TA for EMEA, based in Europe.
- Develop and implement agile recruiting strategies tailored to different countries and roles, using various channels such as Indeed, local job boards, LinkedIn, internal referrals, and store-window advertisements. Proactively source candidates when needed, and optimize supply channels and screening processes.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure quality candidate supply, as they handle interviews.
- Maximize social media recruitment channels.
- Engage and manage recruitment agencies when necessary.
- Master the ATS and utilize reporting insights for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with top HR and recruitment leaders across Africa and Europe, contributing ideas and best practices.
You:
- Focus on solutions and possibilities, ensuring problems are addressed.
- Operate with a sense of urgency, reflecting the retail environment.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Previous recruitment experience is helpful but not mandatory; qualities such as intelligence, engagement, positivity, and quick learning are valued.
