As we continue to grow, we're seeking an energetic, skilled, and people-focused Internal Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our team. This role is central to building a strong internal team by managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
The Internal Talent Acquisition Consultant will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, and securing top talent across various departments within WeconnectU. This individual will manage internal hiring processes, collaborate with department heads to define hiring needs, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for internal roles: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates
- Collaborate with department leaders to understand staffing needs and develop effective job descriptions and hiring strategies
- Maintain and update job postings on relevant platforms, including internal communications
- Conduct initial screening calls and coordinate interview processes
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs
- Assist with the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a positive start at WeconnectU
- Keep candidate records and reports up to date in the ATS or internal systems
- Monitor recruitment metrics (e.g. time-to-hire, cost-per-hire) and suggest improvements
- Promote WeconnectU's employer brand and culture in all candidate interactions
- Support basic HR functions such as issuing employment contracts, assisting with HR documentation, and supporting new employee orientation
- Continuously improve recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure efficiency and great candidate experience
Requirements
- Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition (in-house or agency)
- Good understanding of recruitment processes, from sourcing to onboarding
- Basic knowledge of HR functions and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outgoing, friendly, and confident personality - a natural relationship builder
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Proactive and self-motivated with a problem-solving attitude
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus
- Tertiary education in Human Resource or related field is a advantageous
