TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Talent Acquisition Officer within the Corporate Services division at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.

Job Summary

As a Talent Acquisition Officer, you’ll lead full-cycle recruiting with strong emphasis on headhunting, onboarding, and succession planning. You’ll work closely with Management to understand current and future hiring needs, develop leadership pipelines, and enhance talent strategy across the organisation.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • You will collaborate with Management to understand and forecast current and future staffing requirements
  • You will proactively head‑hunt and build pipelines of high‑calibre passive and executive‑level talent through direct outreach industry events and professional networks
  • Assist with the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle including sourcing screening structured interviewing negotiating offers and conducting reference checks
  • Collaborate in the implementation and monitoring of onboarding programmes to ensure new hires are operationally ready, culturally integrated, and engaged from day one, providing input and ideas during the design phase
  • Assist in the execution and oversight of succession planning initiatives, including identifying key roles defining competency frameworks assessing talent pools and maintaining readiness for leadership transitions
  • You will represent the organisation at industry events contribute to employer branding efforts and ensure a consistent and compelling candidate experience to position the company as Employer of choice
  • Monitor and analyse current recruitment strategies and industry trends to identify areas for enhancement, providing actionable insights and recommendations to optimise the recruitment process
  • Support hiring managers in implementing effective interview techniques, talent forecasting strategies, and onboarding responsibilities, providing guidance on structured interviewing, inclusive recruitment practices, and best practices to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for new hires

Qualifications and skills
  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Computer literate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field (advantageous)
  • 2–4 years of full‑cycle recruitment experience including proven head‑hunting or executive search success
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a strategic adviser and partner with Executive Management
  • Experience in designing and executing succession planning and leadership pipeline frameworks
  • Advanced skills in sourcing structured interviewing negotiation and candidate evaluation
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship‑building capabilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure
