Responsibilities :

  • End to end recruitment with the relevant hiring manager
  • Draft job advertisements
  • Recruit qualified candidates according to the job specifications, using the relevant recruitment databases
  • Screen and shortlist applicants with the hiring manager, ensuring that applicants meet the minimum requirements
  • Schedule interviews for shortlisted employees along with the hiring manager
  • Schedule all the relevant verification checks for shortlisted candidates, including criminal, credit (where applicable), telephonic reference, qualification and other relevant checks
  • Provide regular updates to the hiring manager on vacant positions
  • Administer and maintain the recruitment database
  • Assist in compiling monthly reports on recruitment stats
  • Represent the company in all forms of communication, maintaining good working relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders, external suppliers, and clients.
  • Respond to and follow up on all enquiries by email, telephone and personal visits as required.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 Certificate NQF 4
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource / industrial psychology
  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of progressive recruitment experience
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
  • A high degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, including Board members, senior executives, and staff.
  • Experience in sourcing candidates from LinkedIn, Pnet & other recruitment portals
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation & influencing skills
  • Strong ability to execute work with a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens.
  • Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance.
