Purpose:

As a key enabler of our Talent Acquisition strategy, the Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for executing high-impact recruitment initiatives across the organization. This role will lead the design and implementation of innovative sourcing strategies, drive our employer branding and EVP activation, and ensure a world-class candidate and stakeholder experience.

Acting as a talent brand ambassador and strategic advisor to the business, this role champions inclusive hiring practices, builds future-fit pipelines, and ensures Heineken Beverages continues to attract, hire, and retain exceptional talent. The role also includes the management and development of a high-performing TA team and oversight of all internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Talent Acquisition Delivery:

- Drive end-to-end recruitment delivery across critical, scarce, and future-forward roles, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Co-create and execute strategic sourcing plans, leveraging proactive talent mapping, internal mobility, and succession readiness.
- Partner with leaders to forecast hiring needs and translate them into actionable recruitment strategies.

Employer Branding & EVP Activation:

- Activate and embed the EVP across channels and touchpoints to position Heineken as an employer of choice.
- Champion storytelling that reflects our purpose, culture, and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Coordinate employer branding campaigns in collaboration with communications and global teams.

Talent Analytics & Market Insights:

  • Translate market and internal data into insights that inform recruitment strategy, workforce planning, and sourcing effectiveness.
    - Track, analyze and report on KPIs such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, candidate experience, and quality of hire.
    - Leverage data to continuously improve processes and stakeholder engagement.

Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and HR business partners, providing guidance on recruitment best practices, talent trends, and workforce planning.
    - Manage relationships with internal stakeholders across all business units and functions.
    - Oversee external vendor relationships including recruitment agencies, branding partners, and technology providers.

Process Innovation & Digital Optimization:

- Leverage recruitment technology, tools, and platforms (e.g., ATS, CRM, LinkedIn Talent Insights) to optimize delivery and experience.
- Drive continuous improvement through digital enablement and system enhancements.

Inclusive Hiring & Governance:

- Promote and ensure adherence to equitable sourcing and selection practices aligned with EE, POPIA, and local legislation.
- Embed inclusive hiring practices at every stage of the recruitment process.

Team Management and Leadership:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing recruitment team.
    - Foster a collaborative and feedback-driven team culture.
    - Set clear performance expectations and support growth and development.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Analytics, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven track record of recruiting in the following specialist areas: FMCG and Beverages Marketing and Sales.
  • Proven track record in proactive talent sourcing, full-cycle recruitment and onboarding across diverse functions and levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in recruitment analytics, data reporting, and the use of dashboards.
  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems, CRM systems and social media platforms and recruitment technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and present actionable insights.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a strong focus on data accuracy and compliance.
  • Solid understanding of the talent market and ability to assess complex role requirements.
  • Experience working with employer branding, Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and digital recruitment campaigns is a strong advantage.
  • Deep knowledge of local labor legislation, equity hiring, and compliance frameworks.
