Job Brief

Talent Acquisition Consultant responsibilities include forecasting hiring needs, sourcing potential hires on various online channels, building relationships with passive candidates and hiring managers and evaluating candidates’ performance in interviews and assignments. Proven that the incumbent can creatively attract talent and improve candidate experience. Ultimately, ensure we attract, hire and retain high-performing employees for the company or on behalf of our clients.

Responsibilities

  1. Determine current staffing needs.
  2. Prepare quarterly and annual hiring plans.
  3. Draft and update job descriptions / specifications.
  4. Liaise with hiring managers to understand each position’s expectations.
  5. Ensure system compliance with all vacancies loaded, including workflow approval and job posting management, budget approval from BUL & CFO.
  6. Conduct compensation and benefits analyses for various roles, when needed.
  7. Source candidates on social networks and niche platforms.
  8. Advertise jobs internally and externally on DirectHire.
  9. Review job applications to identify high-potential candidates.
  10. Complete candidate information and CV in SoluGrowth Templates for tender purposes.
  11. Maintain candidates’ data (e.g., CVs, assignments, and contact details) in internal databases.
  12. Shortlist candidates for various roles.
  13. Perform credit, criminal and reference checks.
  14. Schedule ShadowMatch assessments for candidates and send results to the Hiring Manager.
  15. Coordinate interviews and contact applicants, as needed.
  16. Prepare job offer letters (internal), as needed.
  17. Ensure that the letter of appointment or contract for signature by BUL (internal) is sent out in advance.
  18. Assist with new hire onboarding (e.g. preparing necessary paperwork and scheduling training).
  19. Assist in drafting the applicable Statement of Work (SOW) or external placement agreements and ensure they are signed by all parties.
  20. Assist in general recruitment admin duties.
  21. Assist in preparing invoicing schedule and/or journals for the HRO Admin Manager.
  22. Assist in organizing career events and attract talent.
  23. Marketing and lead generation of the external recruitment / placement service offering.
  24. Track key recruiting KPIs, including time to fill and source of hire.
  25. Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.

Qualifications & Experience
  1. Work experience as a Talent Acquisition Consultant, HR Consultant, or similar role.
  2. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases.
  3. Hands-on experience with candidate sourcing and evaluation.
  4. Familiarity with job boards, resume databases and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  5. Experience interviewing candidates and organizing skills assessment centers.
  6. Basic knowledge of labour legislation.
  7. Experience using professional social networks (LinkedIn, in particular).
  8. Excellent organizational skills.
  9. BSc degree or diploma in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or relevant field will be an advantage.

  5. Solid knowledge and understanding of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
  6. DirectHire and Pnet application experience.
  7. Microsoft Excel intermediate experience (Pivots, V-Lookup, formulas).

Other Requirements
  1. Must have own reliable transport.
  2. Must have a valid driver’s licence.
  3. Must be able to work long hours.
  4. Must have a stable internet connection when working after-hours and when working remotely.
