In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all vacancies are filled with suitably qualified employees promptly to avoid business disruption. You will also ensure candidates can perform current functions and have the capacity to grow within the company.

  • Maintain a fit-for-purpose talent acquisition capability aligned with business needs.
  • Handle all aspects of the talent attraction process, including advertising, interviewing, evaluation, and appointment within agreed SLAs.
  • Maintain an accurate vacancy tracking system and provide ongoing feedback on progress.
  • Make employment offers for both permanent and temporary staff, aligned with the Recruitment and Remuneration strategy and approved by the Employee Relations Manager.
  • Keep management informed with up-to-date data on the talent attraction process, including potential candidate databases and rejection analysis.
  • Stay informed about scarce skills and future talent requirements, employment equity targets, and proactively source candidates accordingly.
  • Uphold professionalism and ethics in psychometric assessments and applicant evaluations.

Requirements:

  • Post-matric qualification in Commerce or Human Resources is advantageous.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in high-volume/bulk recruitment roles.
  • Experience in the financial services industry, preferably in long-term insurance.
  • Experience with ATS and sourcing platforms.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
