Job summary

SA Metal Group (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Recruitment Assistant to join the Human Capital team. You will support end-to-end recruitment, screen CVs, coordinate interviews and assist with job profiling in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires a Diploma in HR Management, Grade 12, and at least 3 years of bulk recruitment experience. Proficiency in MS Office and a driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 certificate is required.
• Diploma in Human Resource Management is required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience with bulk recruitment in high-volume environments.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment processes to attract suitable candidates.
• Prepare targeted vacancy advertisements and coordinate referrals and sourcing.
• Assist line managers with updating job profiles and descriptions.
• Screen CVs against job requirements and conduct telephone pre-screens.
• Coordinate interviews with candidates, Recruitment Officer and line managers; send confirmations.
• Conduct employment and background checks.
• Arrange pre-employment medicals, psychometric testing and assessments.
• Prepare candidate submission packs for line managers.
• Update candidate statuses daily and maintain vacancy lists and records.
• Provide general administrative support to recruitment team.
