Job description

One of our large fleet management clients based in Sandton are urgently in need of a Tail Lift Technician within the Fleet / Logistics Industry to start as soon as possible.

Salary : Negotiable

Requirements : Grade 12

Own Transport

Certification in Tail Lift or related technical field a must

Recent experience as a Tail Lift Technician a must, with a strong understanding of tail lift systems

Recent experience working with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems in tail lifts.

Familiarity with different tail lift brands and models.

Able to use diagnostic equipment and tools for tail lift systems

Duties :

Perform installation, repair, and maintenance on tail lift systems (hydraulic, electric, and mechanical) on fleet of vehicles

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with tail lifts, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components.

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on tail lift systems to ensure their safety and reliability.

Test tail lift functionality after repairs to ensure proper operation and safety.

Replace worn or damaged parts, such as seals, pumps, motors, and cylinders.

Work with the team to ensure timely completion of repairs and minimize downtime.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.

Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide on-site repairs as necessary.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
