Job summary

Fidelity Specialized Services is seeking a Tactical Drone Driver for a Transnet contract. You will be responsible for operating the K9 vehicle, maintaining security protocols, and coordinating with the Control Room and Drone Pilot.

The role requires a valid C1 license, PSIRA Grade A accreditation, handgun competency, and readiness to work 12-hour shifts. Prior security experience is preferred, with no criminal records.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate or equivalent required.
• Code C1 driver’s license (older than 2 years).
• PSIRA accreditation with at least Grade A Armed Response.
• SAPS Weapons Competency in handgun.
• Advance Driving Course preferred.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts.
• Minimum 2 years’ security industry experience or similar role.
• No criminal records.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for the vehicle: report faults, refuel, operate security systems, keep vehicle clean.
• Drive the Tactical K9 vehicle as required.
• Prevent accidents and report them promptly.
• Maintain radio contact with Control Room / Drone Pilot / K9 Handler.
• Carry out security drills and maintain security awareness.
• Take preventive actions against suspicious activity.
