Overview

My client based in Stellenbosch is currently looking for an IT Systems Operations Executive to join their team on a permanent basis.

IT / Finance

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in IT systems administration, operations, or similar role
• Strong technical knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and system integrations
• Certifications in System Administration (e.g., ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Network+), Cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+), and Microsoft & Salesforce (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Salesforce Administrator)
• Proven experience in managing cybersecurity frameworks and IT infrastructure
• Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Salesforce Platform App Builder certification
• Project Management certification (PMI CAPM, PMP, or PRINCE2 Foundation)
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (Moodle preferred)

Responsibilities

• Oversee system administration and server operations, including migrations and integrations
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure and security frameworks, including firewalls, backups, and recovery processes
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to ensure minimal downtime and efficient issue resolution
• Develop, implement, and enforce IT policies and procedures
• Drive innovation and automation within IT systems to improve efficiency and reliability
• Collaborate on projects and IT strategy development, ensuring alignment with business objectives
