Job summary

SEGULA Technologies South Africa is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support a multidisciplinary project in Gauteng. You will translate requirements into coherent technical solutions while maintaining system-level consistency throughout the lifecycle.

We are looking for a candidate with 2–5 years in systems engineering, strong analytical skills and the ability to coordinate interfaces across disciplines. The role is based in Gauteng on a fixed-term project footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Approx. 2–5 years of experience in Systems Engineering or system development.
• Experience with system requirements and requirements management.
• Experience with system integration, verification and validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop and integrate complex engineering systems.
• Manage system and subsystem requirements and ensure traceability.
• Coordinate interfaces between mechanical, electrical and other disciplines.
• Support system architecture and functional analysis activities.
• Participate in system verification, validation and testing.
