The Role:

The Systems Business Analyst will implement technological solutions to business-related problems and align IT development with the operational systems that support the business. Responsibilities include overseeing business systems, gathering and analyzing data, and identifying areas for improvement.

Key Performance Areas:
Operational
  • Evaluate company systems and current processes.
  • Set objectives for improving and streamlining procedures.
  • Assess company performance, information, and formats.
  • Stay updated on industry developments.
  • Research hardware and software needs and make recommendations.
  • Assist in financial planning through economic research.
  • Document system effectiveness and recommend new developments.
Analysis and Reporting
  • Analyze stakeholder business objectives and develop solutions.
  • Define 'To Be' and 'As Is' processes.
  • Identify and document business requirements throughout projects.
  • Translate business needs into system/functional requirements.
  • Compile and report key business metrics.
  • Support financial closing and special projects.
  • Collaborate with finance and Business Control departments.
  • Review and audit financial practices and internal controls.
Process Improvement
  • Identify issues and develop cross-region solutions.
  • Prioritize and scope improvements.
  • Design, test, and implement process enhancements.
  • Manage change and monitor performance for compliance.
Your Profile:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Information Systems.

Experience:

  • Business process design and documentation.
  • Performance and root cause analysis.
  • End-to-end project management.
  • ERP, accounting, and reporting systems experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI.
  • Mining industry experience is advantageous.
