Job description

The Systems Analyst will be responsible for implementing and maintaining various technology systems, including but not limited to:

  • Azure, AWS (AWS Database, Redshift, ElasticSearch)
  • Oracle Databases and SQL databases
  • SAP applications in Finance, HR, CRM, and Marketing

Additionally, the role involves data migration from legacy systems to new platforms, designing ETL processes, and understanding both business and technical requirements for system design.

Requirements

  • Develops, implements, and maintains systems and applications used in the insurance industry.
  • Analyzes new insurance processes and technologies, performs performance measurement, business analysis, and system development.
  • Maintains the technical aspects of Information Management systems to meet regulatory standards.
  • Evaluates current practices and recommends solutions to improve system stability and reliability.
  • Performs daily tasks such as designing, reviewing, and maintaining spreadsheets, databases, presentations; creating technical documentation; and data entry.
  • Handles analysis, design, requirements definition, architecture, testing, implementation, documentation, and change management tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in computer systems or software development.
  • Proven experience in database design and development.
  • Experience in digital and insurance (short-term or life) or financial services industries is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with SAFe methodology and value stream approach.
  • Experience with custom-built solutions rather than off-the-shelf products.
  • Understanding of back-end system integration.
