Systems Analyst I

Minimum Requirements:

1. Minimum 5 years relevant IT experience in Oracle EBS (Financials) implementation.
2. Willingness to perform standby duties.
3. Strong understanding of Oracle database and SQL.
4. Oracle Certification (preferred).
5. Experience in Oracle Financials configuration across modules.
6. Familiarity with standard Oracle documentation (e.g., BR / MD).
7. Experience with projects or large continuous improvement initiatives.
8. Understanding of project management methodologies.
9. Retail experience is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyse Current Systems and Business Requirements: Translate complex business requirements into business requirement definitions and specifications.
2. Evaluate required system enhancements.
3. Analyse existing systems and interfaces for improvement opportunities.
4. Design New or Enhanced Systems: Participate in process design / redesign, translating requirements into system designs.
5. Design system enhancements and interfaces.
6. Adjust system specifications in response to testing or requirement changes.
7. Provide input to deployment plans based on designs.
8. Testing of Proposed Solutions: Develop system test plans for system and integration testing.
9. Perform testing and provide feedback on results.
10. Implementation of New Solutions: Assist with the creation and handover of system administration procedures.
11. Participate in post-implementation reviews and provide SME input during implementation.
12. Support Current Solutions: Resolve user queries and provide input to support teams.
13. Ensure system stability and provide functional leadership.
14. Collaboration and Business Support: Work closely with business and IT stakeholders.
15. Provide input for user training material and operational support.
16. Share knowledge and support audit requirements.
17. Documentation: Develop and maintain relevant SDLC documentation.
18. Maintain design and interface documentation.
