Description: As a Systems Analyst, the individual is expected to deliver business solutions from conceptualisation to implementation, with the scope limited by the project or change scope.

The Systems Analyst must understand and define business and technical solutions to fulfill business needs.

Responsibilities include eliciting requirements, analysing requirements, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and managing stakeholder expectations.

The role also involves documenting process, functional, technical, and data requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement: Internal development teams, testing, product management, service desk, project office, external clients, software suppliers, Payments Association of South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate requirements elicitation discussions.
  • Validate and manage stakeholder requirements.
  • Define and document requirements.
  • Involve appropriate stakeholders in elicitation.
  • Prioritize requirements considering business, system, and time constraints.
  • Create system screens and wireframes.
  • Manage deliverables per project timelines.
  • Proactively identify risks and issues.
  • Ensure adherence to the systems development lifecycle.
  • Manage queries from stakeholders.
  • Produce clear, concise, and quality documentation.

Qualifications & Knowledge: Business/Systems Analyst certification, knowledge of SDLC, IIBA certification beneficial, proficiency in Visio.

Experience: 3+ years in related roles, experience in Financial Services or Payments environment.
