Job description

We are seeking for a IT System Administrator to lead the troubleshooting, testing, and improvement of our products. This role requires an individual with strong networking, Linux, and scripting skills who can effectively analyze product performance, provide feedback to development teams, and support both internal teams and clients. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a passion for technology and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  1. A+ and N+ certification (mandatory).
  2. Minimum of 2 years in a Technical Support role.
  3. Strong administrative Linux knowledge.
  4. Proficiency in scripting and command-line operations.
  5. Solid networking and firewall experience, including IP configuration, subnetting, and gateway setup.
  6. Understanding of control & instrumentation, low voltage systems, relays, and digital inputs/outputs.
  7. Programming background is a nice-to-have but not required.
  8. Takes initiative and is eager to impress.
  9. Works well independently and in a team environment.
  10. Communicates clearly and effectively, reducing the need for repeated explanations.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  1. Test new software releases from developers to ensure stability and functionality.
  2. Replicate and diagnose technical issues reported in the field to identify solutions.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve product-related problems efficiently.
  4. Ensure all products are free from critical bugs before deployment.
  5. Analyze product performance and provide structured feedback to developers, installers, and technical teams.
  6. Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and troubleshooting documentation for internal teams and clients.
  7. Collaborate with Operations, Support, Factory, Technicians, Clients, Developers, and Directors to improve product quality and user experience.
  8. Assist in scripting and automation to enhance system functionality.
